My name is zubin

I learned visual effects first, then spent years working backwards. Design, editing, camera, direction. Every craft learned because I already knew what the finished thing was supposed to feel like.

I grew up with music as an alarm clock and a fashion designer for a mother, then spent three years in Mumbai earning a degree in VFX. I cut my first music videos there. I learned to direct by being the person other directors came to when a shot seemed impossible.

I founded MindOfDerby so a project could move from first idea to final export in one set of hands.
